Where: The streets of Cessnock’s Central Business District
Entries close: 2nd October 2026 at 8:00pm — enter and pay via RiderNet only.
Entry fees:
• Postie Bike GP team — $480 (2 riders + 3 pit crew, includes team manager)
• Women’s Race — $140 (1 rider + 1 pit crew)
Each team rider must enter via their own RiderNet ID. Rider 1 enters and pays the team fee; Rider 2 enters under their own ID at no charge. Places are limited (Grand Prix: 72 teams · Women’s: 36 teams) — get in early!
What’s new for 2026 — a heads-up for returning teams
The Supplementary Regulations are the official and authoritative source — please read them in full. The list below is just a quick summary of the main changes from 2025.
- Entry fees increased: GP team $480 (was $420); Women’s Race $140 (was $110).
- Entries close earlier: 2nd October 2026 at 8:00pm — RiderNet only (no entry forms).
- Riding numbers: returning teams keep their previous number; new teams must contact Lyndel Butler for a number before entering. Numbers now go on the front and sides of the bike.
- New protective clothing & equipment rules: helmets to recognised AU/EU/USA/JP/FIM standards, leather or equivalent gear, back protector, gloves, boots and eye protection.
- New conduct policy: a Conduct Towards Officials & Volunteers section with zero tolerance and escalating penalties.
- Bike check list included: the full scrutineering check list is now printed in the regulations.
- Dyno testing clarified: enclosed area, minimum 2 and maximum 4 runs, one rerun allowed on a fail.
Unchanged for 2026: all bike/technical specifications (110cc, 6.3hp limit, gearing, tyres, exhaust, fuel), prize money, and the race format & Sunday timetable.
